Wilson’s is remaining open to keep your homes comfortable because we know keeping your system running efficiently and preventing system breakdowns is more important now than ever; however, we are taking extra precautions to keep our clients and employees safe at this time due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic.
Effective immediately we have supplied our technicians hand sanitizer spray to have with them at all times and we are encouraging them to wash their hands often according to the recommendations of the CDC. Also, our technicians will continue to wear booties/shoe covers, and latex gloves on their hands. COVID-19 is a respiratory illness that can spread from person to person and our technicians will be wearing disposable face masks when inside our client’s homes to help ensure we are not spreading any germs.
As the government has advised social distancing, we are limiting the number of employees in physical contact with each other, and will also limit the number of technicians on the job site.
We want to treat our clients like family, but unfortunately at this time we will not be able to make physical contact with our clients with things such as handshakes. The technician will remain a respectful distance while speaking with you as it is recommended by the CDC right now to stay approximately 6 feet from an individual.
We normally take clients used filters away in our vans and dispose of them, but due to this being a respiratory illness; we will be putting used filters in your trash bins. This will also keep the used filters from being in contact with the unused filters or parts in our vans.
We are strongly recommending and encouraging our employees to stay home at the first sign of not feeling well to prevent the spread of germs within the business. We are asking at this time if you or your family member are feeling under the weather you please contact us to reschedule your appointment to help prevent the spread of germs to the technicians so they are able to continue to help keep working and servicing the homes of our other clients. Many of our clients have medical and health issues that require them to be in a conditioned home and it could cause them further health issues if we do not respond immediately.SCHEDULE Service
